About Southern Champion Tray
SCT is a leading manufacturer of paperboard packaging distinctive service to the bakery, food service, and custom retail markets in all 50 states and abroad. Although their extraordinary level of quality and service has always stood unwavered, the exterior of their facility did not provide a strong representation of the high-tech operation within. Nationwide Construction was called upon along with two other contractors to propose a solution. While two generic approaches were presented from the other GC’s, Nationwide provided an option with a dramatic upgrade featuring a modern feel that matched the state-of-the-art capability of SCT.
Not interrupting production was a complex and paramount requirement, which Nationwide facilitated. Through 4 different phases including asbestos abatement, partitioning the A/C into divisions to prevent dust transfer, installing machine foundations and more, Nationwide met the challenge. A true success story that the ownership of Southern Champion Tray would certainly be happy to share.
